Definition
- The recent increase in immigration to the United States of peoples of African descent (i.e., Africans, Caribbean Blacks) has led to a greater percentage of individuals who are labeled Black Americans. There are many similarities among these groups, but their historical relationships and immigration patterns to the United States differ greatly.
