alternative media in politics
Definition
- Alternative media in politics (AMP) are defined as media practices falling outside the mainstream of corporate communication or using traditional media forums other than news outlets to communicate with citizens. AMP platforms are often unabashedly politically biased, leading to a form of advocacy journalism that promotes specific political views and dissenting perspectives.
