Definition
- The term body politics refers to academic and social controversies surrounding the significance of the body. Since the 1960s, feminist social scientists and other academics have focused intently on understanding the existing cultural differentiation of male and female bodies and, subsequently, analyzing the real-world ramifications of gendered body norms.
