policy transfer
Definition
- The term policy transfer covers processes through which the framework of political, institutional, and cognitive actions are used or readjusted for the development of action frameworks within other political systems, often foreign. Analysis in terms of policy transfer is increasingly observed as a matter of analysis and discussion at the level of studies on public policies, international relations, as well as at the level of administrative and legal spheres.
