Preferred term
religion: finding or losing
Definition
- Research indicates that couples that share religious beliefs and practices increase their chances for marital stability and quality. This is most evident when marriages are homogamous—when couples attend the same religious congregation and practice the religion embraced by their primary networks of family, neighbors, and friends.
