Definition

  • The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO) media policy is the whole of its collective binding decisions, which the multilateral United Nations agency takes in order to change the frame for public communication. Media policy, which is part of UNESCO's communication policy, sets standards, laws, and rules and, thus, narrows or extends the playground of stakeholders and participants in mass communication.
